We offer Digital Powder Density Apparatus, which has been specially created to study the packing of powder beds of different pharmaceuticals and chemicals powders, flakes, pellets, granules and other bulk substances. Powder Density is a vital test, which is necessary in the process of tablet manufacturing, capsule filling and cosmetic manufacturing.

The apparatus has an in-built Microcomputer Based 'LCD Display' System. The "Switches" are provided on the front panel of the apparatus for setting total number of strokes to the glass cylinders. These up and down movement of the cylinders are stopped automatically at the pre-set number, which can be anywhere between the minimum 1 stroke to 9999 strokes maximum. The benefit of Micro-Computer based LCD Display over the old type model with the mechanical timer is that "Digital Display" of total strokes gives precise and correct number of strokes given to the cylinder.

 

This new and sophisticated model does not require any calculator for test results which are displayed directly on the instrument panel by feeding the correct data. The Apparatus is fit for working on 230 Volts, Single Phase A.C. 50Hz. Supplied with a pair of 50ml glass cylinders and connecting cable. Additional 100ml and 250ml cylinders will be supplied at extra cost.

Our new compact Tapped Density Apparatus (Model TDA-2/TDA3) have been created and designed in such a manner that they are able to replace the bulky, troublesome and expensive models in the market today. These apparatus are used widely for measure tapped density of powders, granules and similar products in accordance with USP method I , method II & method III(TDA3) Also ASTM and relevant chapters of other pharmacopoeias. These techniques are highly suitable for powder flowability studies and also for determining the amount of settlement during transit to optimize pack sizes.
