Airflow is 100% externally expelled and there is no recirculation within. Hence the amount of air volume used is significantly greater than that of the Class II A2 cabinet. Class II B2 Biological safety cabinets provide additional protection to the user when working with vapors and gases where aseptic conditions are required.
